At its first performance, Shostakovich’s 5th Symphony received an ovation that lasted well over half an hour. It is one of CRSO’s favourite symphonies to perform, and we are delighted to welcome back Fenella Humphreys to perform Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto with us.
